The Matrix-8 Platform will provide an anonymous playground in which people can safely get together and play. On the Social Network side of things a new Member chooses his or her Nom de Guerre, describes themselves within the boundaries of the generically developed profile, plus they give a paragraph or two more fully explaining themselves and their Goals. They can then seek to be introduced to others of similar or different profiles and Goals.
The Platform will provide a safe environment for honest discussion between folks of similar or differing points of view, hopefully leading to greater understandings for all – all without ever blowing anyone’s cover. The intention is that the Matrix-8 Platform will never know who you really are, and therefore cannot possibly divulge your True Identity to anyone else – the King’s gumshoes included.
Folks need never go beyond chatting. But when they find they have similar interests in making changes in Society – they can then band together within the 8’s Matrix of the Crowdfunding aspect of the Platform and progress from just talking about it – to actually planning how to take charge of their world. Seeking to realize a Common Goal, they would most likely want to be in a Core 8-PAC with others of similar Profiles and Goals. (When it is time for Action, diversity regarding a specific Goal is generally a handicap.)
When you request it, the Platform will automatically assign you to a Core 8-PAC with 7 others according to an apparent consensus based on your profiles. It will then offer you and the other 8-PAC’s in your nascent Goal Group the format of a questionnaire so that you can figure out how to continually better arrange yourselves by your agreements. You create the questions which will best lead to unanimity in your Core 8-PAC. And as the number of 8-PAC’s grow in your Goal Group, you will want your Delegates to also be grouped with others closely aligned to them. All the while, you continue chatting about how to realize your Goal.
Some folks may want to enter Matrix-8 using various different Noms de Guerre, and just have fun joining in discussions as various different people with differing or even opposing viewpoints. There would be no way to detect such. But when discussion turned to Action on the Crowdfunding side of Matrix-8, if they didn’t pony up their assessment for each of their Noms de Guerre, at least some of their alter egos would lose credibility. So the longer one plays on the Matrix-8 Platform, the better he or she will be known, and the harder for spoilers to exert their influence.
Throughout all your activities on the Platform, those with whom you are interacting are invited to give their opinions about you. There will therefore be the Profile written by the Members themselves, plus Profiles written about them by others. So, over time someone who is false, or inconsistent in his or her interactions may garner a bad reputation. Those whose purpose is to muddy the waters, or poison the wells, will be labeled as such. Their Nom de Guerre will not hide them for the long term. But those who are consistent, and beneficial to others in their dealings will gain a good reputation, and others will have greater confidence when entering into interaction with them.
And there should be no holds barred in discussions. If someone wishes to vilify, denounce, or assassinate the character of another, a group, or idea – they are free to do so. If someone wishes to devote his or her energies to what others may view as Hate Speech – they are free to do so. (Advocates for Political Correctness may be challenged to stay the course from time to time – but censorship is out.)
In the early stages of the Platform, no one will have a reputation; mischief-makers will have a free hand to make trouble for their Peers. But over time, those discovered to be mal-intentioned will become known for who and what they are. They will find it more and more difficult to get access to other folks’ wells in order to poison them. If they wish to continue their mischief, they will have to drop their Nom de Guerre, and reenter the Platform under another name. But without a track record, they will be more suspect than those whose records have been good for a relatively longer time. Their ability to do mischief will be greatly limited as newbies; and once known as hatemongers, their reputations will precede them. (Paypal and other sites have found it very workable to post feedback as a measure for future confidence.)
It will be like living and working in a small town where everybody knows everybody. It will be good – a return to the ambiance where HumanNatarchy (rule by Human Nature) holds sway. It is my contention that Human Nature more clearly manifests itself in the small isolated community, rather than in the anonymity of the Big City.
Mankind in its current form has been on Planet Earth for 200,000 years. Only 10,000 years – 1/20 of that time – living in communities larger than about 200 people. Philosophers, psychologists, anthropologists, sociologists, and religionists have wrongly focused on the most recent 1/20 of Man’s time on Earth in their attempts to describe Human Nature. I disagree with the pronouncements of such as Hume and Yahweh…. I think they were wrong in characterizing Man as an evil brute in need of being chained by his and her betters – lest he and she destroy their own homes.
The Matrix-8 Platform offers a way for you to regain the innocence and good will which is your legacy. Have fun in discussions, and when there are enough of you to actually do something about it – form up as 8-PAC’s and answer the question, “What’s next?”
The need to be spied on, and forced to play nice by the officers of the Social Contract is truly neolithic and ready for the trash heap of prehistoric technological anomalies. Leave the red tape behind. Utilize modern technology on the Matrix-8 Platform, play your role as one of the good guys – and get the job done!
